Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala shrugs off links with Chelsea

Reported Chelsea target Eliaquim Mangala is focusing on his career at Porto despite talk linking him with Stamford Bridge.

Jose Mourinho looked at the French defender while in charge of Real Madrid and is still thought to be interested following his return to Stamford Bridge.

Mangala helped Porto clinch their third Portuguese title in row by one point from rivals Benfica, and has subsequently made his debut for France.

The 22-year-old, who joined Porto from Standard Liege in 2012, has also been linked with Paris St-German and Manchester City,

"I not am preoccupied about my future," said Mangala. "There have been many rumours in the papers in the last few days, but I am very calm.

"My objective is to work each day and to progress in my club. I am only thinking about to follow up for Porto the next season.

"I was also very happy with my debut for France, my dream is to play in the World Cup 2014."
