Chelsea will reportedly finalise a move for Napoli striker Edinson
Cavani in the summer, according to reports on the TalkSport website.
The Napoli striker has been heavily linked with Manchester City and Real Madrid in the last few months, and it seemed that they were winning the race for his signature.
However, it is Chelsea who have reportedly won the race and it has been claimed that Cavani will be plying his trade in a blues shirt from next season onwards in a deal that will cost around £42.5 million.
He will also be on a massive £145,000-per-week, which will make him one of the highest paid players at the club.
Chelsea have been eyeing up a striker for a while and many believed that it would be Radamel Falcao who arrives and not Cavani, but that doesn’t matter as he is still one of the world’s best forwards and will be a great addition to an already impressive blues squad.
