Football fans have voted for Chelsea as favourites to win the Premier League next season, in an online poll conducted by Goal.com.
The Europa League winners, who finished third behind both Manchester clubs this campaign, are aiming to recapture the league success of Jose Mourinho's spell at Stamford Bridge, as he looks set for a return to the Blues.
Chelsea received approximately one-third of all votes cast, marginally ahead of reigning champions Manchester United, with Mourinho regarded as the league's best manager following Sir Alex Ferguson's Old Trafford farewell.
Spaniards Juan Mata and Fernando Torres are among those to have won both major European trophies at Chelsea without Premier League glory, while the Blues squad will be bolstered by a £100 million summer transfer spree.
Elsewhere, Arsenal are considered more likely to triumph than Manchester City - in what would be their first domestic title since 2004 - after manager Arsene Wenger promised to make significant signings to improve the current squad.
However, it could be down to the club's stability that the Gunners are so highly rated, since all three rivals have undergone managerial mayhem once again.
